THESE ARE SIGNS YOU MIGHT NOT BE GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP.

THESE ARE SIGNS YOU MIGHT NOT BE GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP.
resolve to get more sleep.
Adults need eight (8) hours of sleep each night.
Getting a good night's sleep is crucial for your mental and physical wellbeing. There are two types of sleep – ‘deep sleep’ and ‘dream sleep’. Good quality sleep is about the amount of ‘deep sleep’ a person gets, not the length of sleep.
Most ‘deep sleep’ occurs during the first five hours after falling asleep. Sleep can be disrupted for a number of reasons, such as illness, pain, anxiety or depression.
How disrupted sleep affects your wellbeing
Examples of disrupted sleep patterns
- difficulty in getting to sleep
- poor-quality sleep
- less sleep
- frequently waking during the night
- waking very early in the morning and being unable to get back to sleep.
TIPS FOR IMPROVING YOUR SLEEP
WHEN YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING
- get out of bed immediately
- get up at approximately the same time every day
- get some fresh air by going outside
- do some physical activity.
DURING THE DAY
- don’t nap during the day
- try to be physically active
- limit your caffeine intake and avoid caffeine after 4pm
- address any stressful issues during the day.
BEFORE GOING TO BED
- avoid going to bed too early as it isn’t the right time for ‘deep sleep’
- avoid smoking, vigorous exercise and drinking alcohol
- don’t go to bed hungry or with a full bladder
- allow yourself time to wind down
- avoid using electronic devices in your bedroom or within 30 minutes of your bedtime
- avoid sleeping pills where possible.
WHILE YOU SLEEP
- keep your bedroom quiet, dark, well ventilated and cool
- avoid too many blankets and electric blankets – if you’re too hot, you won’t go into a deep sleep.
Making your New Month a memorable to get good 8-hours sleep each night is the easiest (and laziest) way to create a 'new you' without really doing much at all.
Good Morning.

Marriage has become so difficult nowadays and Zina has become so easy

Why is that? Usually when someone wants to get married they get obsessed with the day, the dress, the venue, the food, the cards, the gifts, the honeymoon, the guest list. In our Prophet's (peace be upon him) era, marriage was finalised and conducted in a few days with little fuss. Because of these material factors some people are simply not getting married due to costs and expectations. Nowadays if someone has a small wedding in the Masjid people start talking. May Allah give us the common sense and humility to only please Him. Join us to say Ameen and let's put less pressure on kids who want to get married for the right reasons, i.e. complete half their deen and not to put on a show which only lasts for a few hours. Ameen!

Benefits of reciting the Holy Quran - Every Muslin should read this ♥

"Recite the Qur'an and you will be noted for it. Practice its teachings and you will be amongst its bearers. Weigh yourselves before you are weighed and beautify yourselves (with good deeds) for the great presentation on the day you will be presented before Allah and nothing of yours will be hidden from Him. Remember that no one has such a right over you that compels you to obey him while disobeying Allah. Take note that in respect of the wealth of Allah (public funds), I regard myself to be like the guardian of an orphan. I shall therefore stay away from it if I have sufficient means and will use it within reason if I am ever in need of it."

Ramadan should not be a month of feasting but instead a month of fasting

Dear brothers and sisters, the month of Ramadan should not be a month of feasting but instead a month of fasting. Let us remember this while sitting for suhoor (the dawn meal) and at the time of iftaar (breaking the fast). Although it is important to take care of our health during these days of fasting, we must focus on the sublime principle of moderation, which Islam commands inside and outside of the fast. For, excesses of overeating, staying up all night in play, and over sleeping are contrary to the teachings of Islam. Brothers, let your wives spend more time in worship rather than tying them to the stoves in your kitchens all day. Parents, engage in worship with your children and families and make this a month of increased mercy and love among you.
May your Ramadan be blessed (Ramadaan Mubarak) and May Allah accept your good deeds as sincerely done for Him (Taqabbal Allaahu minnaa wa minkum).
