Tanzania's Home Affairs Minister, Charles Kitwanga, has been sacked by President Magufuli after he turned up to parliament and answered questions while under the influence of alcohol.
Charles Kitwanga, who is viewed as being close to President Magufuli's, is the first minister to be fired since the cabinet's appointment.

Presidential State House says Kitwanga was sacked after he "turned up drunk to parliament and responded to a question directed to the Ministry of Home Affairs while being in a drunken state."

Moses Nasser In a democratic society as Tanzania is perceived to be a minister can't just be fired instead should be sent on administrative leave to pave way for an investigation if into the incident before the firing happens, he's exercising to much powers which is not good he's proving to be the 21st century dictator
