utting the Grand in Oman's Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

…
PUTTING THE GRAND IN OMAN'S SULTAN QABOOS GRAND MOSQUE
We used to have the world's largest carpet, but then the Emiratis came when they were building the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, measured ours, and now they have the title. We also used to have the world's largest chandelier, but then the Qataris came, measured ours, and stole that from us too.
The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque may have to settle for second when it comes to carpets and chandeliers, but it certainly doesn't make the place any less stunning. Located along a stretch of the Sultan Qaboos Highway (a lot of stuff is named for His Majesty in this town), the mosque is Muscat's premiere tourist attraction. It's also the only mosque in Oman that allows non-Muslims to visit.
One of the main attractions here is the former Guinness world record holder of Largest Chandelier in the World - the 14 metre, 8 and 1/2 ton behemoth that dangles from the centre of the men's prayer hall. With more than 600,000 STRASS Swarovski crystals (it's the finest crystal on the planet), over a thousand halogen bulbs, and 24 karat gold plating on the metal bits, the chandelier took 4 years to complete.Sixteen smaller chandeliers throughout the men's prayer hall complement the main attraction.
The carpet here is also an achievement in itself. It took 600 Iranian women 4 years to make, and is still the second largest hand-woven rug in the world. Those pesky Emiratis stole that crown too, so please do drop by and bid the ladies your condolences if you're ever backpacking Iran.

LIVING AS THE MOST WANTED IN A BANANA REPUBLIC (I TAKE QUESTIONS NOW)

LIVING AS THE MOST WANTED IN A BANANA REPUBLIC
(I TAKE QUESTIONS NOW)

Armed with a pen I decided to tackle the bad governance and lack of the rule of law that was hurting my motherland. Knowing the dangers involved and the brutal nature of the dictatorship, I decided to deploy a method and tactic that was not only going to defeat their counter measures to harm me, but I had to use infiltration, plus Communication technology supremacy and at times I had to disorient the enemy in his pursuit to harm me. I got experience from my primary schol while in class 4,when I led a strike against our teacher who made us clean the classroom while her daughter who was our fellow pupil was exempted.I managed to organise my fellow pupils and we refused to sweep unless her daughter joined us.I was expelled without any mercy.I learned from that time that next time I have to fight and dislodge a bad leadership I had to use highly covert methods which work equally well, and I have since deployed them at every opportunity.I CAN ONY ASSURE THE COUNTRY THAT THIS REGIME WILL NEVER , I REPEAT WILL NEVER LAY HANDS ON ME,AND .I WILL NEVER BETRAY THE PEOPLE'S CAUSE FOR A BETTER UGANDA
WITH THIS YOU CAN NOW ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT MY LIFE AS MOST WANTED PERSON.

The director of public prosecutions DPP, has indicted the officer in charge of Kampala police station AARON BAGUMA, (PICTURED) for the murder of a one Komuhangi who was tortured to death at a Kampala car dealer's shed, where she was held hostage for days before being murdered.AARON BAGUMA, was part of the people who tortured her and led to her death.THE FILE IS READY AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ARRESTED AND TAKEN TO COURT, AND KAYIHURA SAID: NO WAY!!, INSTEAD THIS BAGUMA IS IN FULL SERVICE, BUSY ARRESTING CHICKEN THIEVES .IT MUST BE REMEMBERED THAT SAME KAYIHURA ALSO TRIED TO HINDER THE PROSECUTION OF HIS SISTER-IN-LAW A ONE JACKIE NSENGA, WHO HAD RUN OVER HER HUSBAND AT THEIR FAMILY GATE, KILLING HIM.

Nsoona Powell Sherriff Do we have a functional Judicial service in Uganda or a puppet one! Why should people's lives be put to extinction with impunity. The law enforcers are now law breakers! For howlong shall we heed to this Injustice? Any threat to Justice anywhere is a threat to Justice in the whole world. We need to criticise this unscruplous act with all the effective channels of comm. Possible. #NowOrNever.
