“Those who have issues with us shouldn’t come for the show. The show is for fans and haters should go and hang themselves. They have time for us but we don’t have time for them.”
These were the words of the newly branded Goodlyfe duo of Radio and
Wizo, as they hit back at critics and so called boycotters, who have for
long perpetrated messages against their ‘Omwana W’abandi’ album launch.
The duo’s Radio said that whoever is against them should not attend the
show, as the preparations being made are for only entertaining their
fans and well wishers.
This comes after strong speculation that the show may actually be a ‘no-show’ after opposition led by the FDC party called upon the public to boycott all the concerts of artistes involved in the ‘Tubonga Nawe’ song. Social media has been awash with comments and messages that have been showing public reluctance to attend the event.
However Radio seems unmoved, as he has promised a groundbreaking show for all who will attend, confirming that there is an amazing cast of top artistes that will join them to make the show one to remember.
“We shall showcase plenty of music, with our old and new and songs. Chameleone, Irene Ntale, Mun G, Juliana, Ziza Bafana are to perform and all of them have confirmed. Fans should come have a good time and get to hear what they have never heard before and get back home with a piece of it.” Radio added.
The album name was derived from their song title ‘Omwana W’abandi’ that was released in January this year. Everything is set and come Friday all roads lead to Hotel Africana where the action will take place. Entrance is only 20,000 and 50,000 Ugandan shillings for ordinary and VIP respectively.
Those who might not get a chance to attend the main show at Hotel Africana, the album launch will head to Colline Hotel Mukono on Saturday the 14th and finally conclude the launch at Nican Resort Lweza and all shows are for 10,000 shillings.
