Real Estate Plus E-News - August 2018

Quote of the Month:

From The Desk of Our CEO

This month we see the celebration of our finance broking arm Plus Loans celebrating their tenth year in operation. Well done to the team and special thank you to Shay and Daniel for their efforts over the years.

The adding of finance broking to the group has be significant in that it has helped us add valuable extra services for our clients and being able to offer a complete package coupled with our settlement arm Plus Your Settlements. All under one roof was one of the main focuses for the group when we originally opened our doors in 1999.
We also pass on our congratulations to Mike Palmer who this month celebrates his twenty fifth year in real estate. Mike has been with us since we first opened our doors in 1999. Mike today heads up Real Estate Plus Commercial and Industrial.
In recent weeks we are seeing small positive signs on the horizon in terms of market conditions across the board. Although we believe it will be a slow journey there has been more positive coverage in the media recently which can only lead to improvement in the future as confidence grows. There are numerous reports of declining markets such as Sydney which has been very positive for ten years. It would appear potentially it will be our turn soon but we think it will be a slow turn around and certainly not to the levels we saw a decade ago.
The period between now and the new year will be one certainly to monitor going forward to see what signs are presented to our economy here is Western Australia. It has been a challenge in recent years so any improvement will certainly be welcomed by all.
