DATES AND VENUES FOR NATIONAL AND PROVINCIAL PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE NATIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PLAN (NSDP) AND SETA LANDSCAPE
The National Skills
Authority (NSA) invites skills development stakeholders from Quality
Councils SETAs, Government, Business, Labour, Education and Training
Providers, Community Constituencies, Research Institutions, Professional
Bodies and the general public to attend public hearings on the NSDS and
SETA landscape beyond 2020 (Re-establishment of SETAs).
The NSA is a statutory
advisory body established in 1999 in terms of Chapter 2 of the Skills
Development Act (SDA) No 97 of 1998. The primary functions of the NSA
are to advise the Minister of Higher Education and Training on matters
of skills development in accordance with section 5 of the Skills
Development Act.
Kindly receive the below dates and venues for each Province.
The NSA
will be visiting your Province as per the above schedule. All the
hearings will be starting at 09:00-17:00. The discussion document can be
