SOUTH AFRICAN DEPT. OF HEALTH UPDATES ON COVID-19:
- COVID-19 cases rise to 1380 in South Africa with 5 deaths
- The lock may not be enough
- Department of health aims to perform 30, 000 COVID-19 tests within 24 hours
- Community health workers will be used in carrying out door to door COVID-19 tests
- About 55 people hospitalised and need intensive care, majority of those who tested positive are in quaratine sites
- Right now we have enough ventilators and some companies have offered to manufacture more for us. These will help us to keep prepared in case number of infections rise.
