Joseph Kintu who alleges he contracted HIV after using these Life guard condoms says several other batches were not recalled from bars & retail shops by NDA the regulator & Marie Stopes the distributor.
Kintu together with a non-profitable organization that watches patient's and Health workers' rights maintain that 30% of these condoms are still in circulation and many Ugandans are at a health risk.
