In Mbarara city North, Dr. Robert Rukaari defeated the Incumbent Tusiime Michael with 12323 votes out of 3356.
In Mbarara south, Mwiine Mpaka who was western Youth Member of parliament won with 22043, followed by Emmy Barebaki with 8014 votes.
On Mbarara City woman Member of Parliament race, Atukwasa Ritah Bwahika won with 14795 votes followed by Kinconco Bonny Kashaija with 12567.
In Kashari North, Bazil Bataribgaya won with 11287 followed by Yaguma Wilberforce Rutashokwa with 9604.
In Kashari south Dr.Abel Mwebembezi won the seat with 11097 votes followed by Tumusiime JB Bamuturaki 9684.
These are the results released by the district NRM registrar Yoram Karamu at NRM offices in Kakyeka, Mbarara.
Some of the contestants disagreed with results announced by the NRM registrar Mbarara, Yoram Kacumita saying tha the NRM primary election was full of vote rigging and bribing voters in search for votes.
Hon Joseph Nulu Byamukama was declared the Kitagwenda county NRM flag bearer.
Tayebwa Herbert defeated Kashongi Constituency MP, Tumuramye Genensio with 54% to 46 %.
Meanwhile, Jane Bainomugisha won the Ibanda District Woman Mp flag bearer race, defeating the Incumbent Jovuline Kariisa.
Dr. Ninkusiima John (Paul Panadol) also defeated the Incumbent Eng. John Byabagambi, the Minister for Karamoja affairs as flag bearer for Ibanda south constituency.
In Ibanda north NRM flag bearer race, Hon.Kyooma Xavier defeated Major. Guma Gumisiriza .
In Ibanda Municipality, Hon Tarsis Rwaburindoore has won the NRM Primaries.
In Bushenyi District, Minister Mary Karooro Okurut conceded defeat after being uprooted by Annet Mugisha with 84,000 votes to 29000 in the Bushenyi Woman Member of parliament race.
In Sheema municipality, new entrant, Dickson Kateshumbwa trounced Minister for science, Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye.
For Kazo meanwhile, the results were not announced, following the delay for results for some sub counties and subsequent chaos that ensued, forcing Dr. Tanga Odoi to reign in. Tanga will meet candidates at 10am this morning to chat the way forward.
In Kiruhura, the results were announced however with protests from candidates and agents alleging malpractice.
Rtd. Col Fred Mwesigye was announced the NRM Flag bearer for Nyabushozi, against his challenger Wilson Kajwengye and Christopher Bakashaba who came third.
For district woman mp race, Hon. Sheila Mwine was announced the winner, results that are being protested by Jovanice Rwenduru and Nuwahereza Phionah Katsigazi
