Stella Nyanzi Is Depressed But Bobi Wine’s Advice Is Hilarious!
It’s no secret that Makerere University researcher, DR Stella Nyanzi is a strong lady. But like any other human, she too experiences low moments.
It’s no secret that Makerere University researcher, DR Stella Nyanzi is a strong lady. But like any other human, she too experiences low moments.
And ever since she was
suspended from her workplace, she appears to be going through this time –
as recently expressed in a post on social media.
“Yesterday, I was very low and lonely. I needed company. I wanted someone to talk with; someone to tell me that it is going to be okay. I went through the contacts in my phone-book. Up and down, down and up, I went through the contacts. Everyone in there is a friend of sorts but not the sort of friend I can call just to chat. My only close friends are my mother’s children – who work hard at their jobs during the day, thus have no time for idle talk.
“And then I missed my mother and father dearly. It never mattered what the time of day or night it was, I could call them and talk for hours on end about this and that and the other. Death is horrible. Sometimes all that one needs is another human being to talk with about nothing in particular. If you have friends that you holler and chat with when anxious or unsettled or lonely, do not take these friends for granted. It is a rare and special gift which must be cherished.”
Some people recommended her to listen to Bob songs while others advised her to watch some movies but Bobi Wine’s advice caught our attention most.
The ‘Kampala Si Kibuga Kyabafala’ hitmaker advised Nyanzi to smoke weed then think things out!
“Dear sister, Meditation is the only medication to such emotions. Sit alone and light a #joint or two, then think things out. The solution is right within you. You’re stronger than you can imagine and nobody is gonna evoke that strength out of you but you. If bad emotions persist, light third joint to complete the trinity. I guarantee you will step over whatever.”
What do you think of Bobi Wine’s trinity?
