The previous opposition have consistently failed to lure the citizens of Uganda time and again over the last 3 decades, not because they were weak but because they didn't take elections any serious.
It should be understood that civic education is very much an important aspect of the electoral process, a responsibility that cannot be singularly performed by the civil society organisations, but very much a demanded effort by the political players themselves.
What Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu has done is to reawaken the idea of civic duty and education by all mentally able Ugandans in whatever capacity they can, to responsibly execute their civic duties not expecting monetary returns but ensuring their contribution towards rebuilding their nation with an understanding that, this is their fight and everyone's effort is highly required.
Just like Y.K.M convincingly lured many youths into armed battle, Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu is luring them into participative politics to bring about change using the law and peaceful means as the stepping stone.
